How RoundUp Savings Works
Remember when people used to collect spare change in a jar and cash it in at the bank? This is the modern version—except now, it’s automatic and completely hassle-free!
With RoundUp Savings, every time you make a purchase with your Mercer Savings Bank debit card, we’ll round up the total to the nearest dollar and sweep the spare change into your savings account. It’s effortless saving, one purchase at a time!
Here’s how it works:
✅ You make a purchase – Let’s say you swipe your debit card for $5.53.
✅ We round it up – That extra $0.47 is automatically transferred to your savings.
✅ The savings add up – If you make multiple purchases in a day, we total all your round-ups and transfer them at the end of the day.
How You’ll See It on Your Account
🔹 Your checking account will show the purchase exactly as the merchant charged you.
🔹 At the end of the day, you’ll see a “RoundUp Debit” transaction for the total of all your round-ups.
🔹 Your savings account will show a “RoundUp Credit” for the same amount.
This way, your savings grow automatically without you having to think about it!
